The fastest growing sport in the United States, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) integrates multiple stand-up and grappling disciplines. Our MMA classes are designed to provide instruction in an unintimidating environment for newcomers and experienced athletes. This class is a supplement to our Muay Thai and Grappling programs so students will learn how to use essential techniques from these and other martial arts disciplines in order to effectively strike, defend and manage distance. Coaches will review the scenarios and small details required to integrate a fighter’s stand-up, clinch and ground skills. Students will also learn how to use the cage in both offensive and defensive situations.
Whether you’re looking for ultimate fitness or strive to compete, MMA classes provide an intense, fun, full-body workout that will develop coordination and focus while putting all of your skills to use. A favorite among professional athletes cross-training in the off season, MMA helps to develop explosive power and extreme endurance.
